This is the best MZ Wallace bag yet--and I have a few! The size is perfect--just enough larger than the Jane with the added plus of the cross body strap. I have had it for just two days and it has far exceeded my expectations. The eggplant color is amazing. It is very subtle. In less light, it appears to be a rich brownish black. In sunlight, there is a wonderful but subtle aubergine cast. Before it arrived, I saw the Steel Bedford Belle on a trip to Santa Fe. I was also beautiful and I was worried I had chosen the wrong color. Not so! For me, this bag in this color will go everywhere and with everything.
